We are starting our 6th year, time sure flies. As everyone knows the snowmobile industry can be challenging, especially when you need mother nature to cooperate. It seems we must work around her schedule more than her around ours. USXC ran 7 events in 2017 with 7 more scheduled for the 2018 season. We were finally able to run the I 500 from Winnipeg down to Bemidji last year. That format worked excellent and will be almost the same course this year. We have added some classes to get more participation plus have a new title sponsor in the Christian Brothers Auto group.
I would like to thank the sponsors that make it possible for USXC to exist. The participants, their crews and family's for how good they are to work with. When I go up on the roof of the scoring trailer and look around the morning of a race and see hundreds of racers, their equipment and trailers, I say to myself “This makes it all worthwhile.” The manufacturers can test their products against each other, young racers learn how to compete and be competitive, learning skills they carry with them the rest of their lives. The thing we enjoy most is the family atmosphere. The parents, wives, families, etc. all working together to support their racers.
USXC is extremely fortunate to have a dedicated professional crew. It’s 3 to 4 days out of their lives for every event, they’re up early, many times working past 10:00 pm. When you see them at events, say thank you, a kind word goes along way. They are the reason our events run to perfection.
I have to thank our sponsors, without them there would be no circuit. Patronize them, tell them you're a USXC racer, many have special discounts for USXC members, such as Christian Bros. Auto group and Country Cat.
Finally, to all our participants, thank you for making USXC the premier XC circuit in the country. Thank you for being so good to work with and acting in a professional manner. Ride safe, ride smart, don't ride over your head. Let's get through the season with no major injuries.

Best Regards,

Brian Nelson
