Welcome to USXC Touring Series
This season people interested in trying the USXC Vintage race class will be able to sign up to ride a 1979 Arctic Cat Cross-Country Cat. With a paid entry fee (and signing your life away in case you wreck it) you’ll be able to ride a fully race-prepped Cross-Country Cat massaged by none other than Brian Nelson, one of the guys who originally raced and engineered the sled back in the late 1970s. Nelson only has two completely restored sleds available, so sign up early!
USXC will be retaining the 1.25 inch track rule for this year on all 600 cc race sleds. It was proposed to go to a 1 inch track for lake racing but after doing a survey of drivers and the manufacturers, the results were about 50/50. We will run this year and look at it again in the spring.

This is a great way to get into racing. It is inexpensive and a wonderful way to create some racing fun.

Spicer, Minn. (July 3, 2012) – First off, let me say I am amazed at all the positive feed back & support we have received. It looks like XC racing is alive and well, hopefully Mother Nature cooperates this winter.
