Racers Carry Cell Phones

For all cross country events we recommend that all racers carry a cheap cell phone. We will supply racers with a phone card to report emergencies and call if they are broke down. We want you to call in if you're broke down and already have a ride. Keep in mind if you stop to call or render aid your time will be adjusted. The emergency numbers are 320-894-9452, 320-894-9469, 320-894-5839.

Best Wishes on Recovery DJ

USXC and its crew would like to extend our best wishes for a speedy and complete recovery to DJ Ekre. The last we heard DJ was having surgery on his pelvis Wednesday, Jan. 9th. He is in Sanford Medical Center in Fargo and should be out by the end of the week. You can get DJ's contact info from Christian Bros. Racing.

Classic IFS Can Enter Trail or Expert 85

A classic IFS racer can also enter Trail or Expert 85.  For the Detroit lakes race we are going to let the women enter Sport 600 Imp. if they are interested.

500 Track Width

500 Track Width

It has come to the attention of the USXC Tech men that there are some 85 hp class machines that are running a 13.5 inch wide track. The standard track in a 500 SP is 15 inches wide and is the only track width that is legal. We will be checking all 500 class sleds at DL.

Neck Protection

The USXC would like to see all of our riders wear some type of neck protection. Arctic Cat has one in their system that we can sell you direct for $280.00. I have been told you get used to them and don’t even know it’s on after a while. Please contact Brian Nelson for details at 320-894-5839 or by Email.
