Willmar, Minn. (December 20, 2015) – The 2016 USXC X-Country Snowmobile Racing season will not feature just one, but three different industry-leading snowmobile engine oils. Three separate brands – Polaris VES Synthetic, Arctic Cat C-TEC 2 Synthetic Oil and XPS 2-Stroke Synthetic Oil – are each on board as 2015-2016 USXC

sponsors. As part of the sponsorship, each brand has agreed to award specific weekend class winners with oil as part of contingency.

These three oils are specifically-formulated by each manufacturer’s engineering department to work in the exact same sleds that race on the USXC circuit:

Arctic Cat C-TEC2 Synthetic Oil  Ctec2Logo252x141
Validated through thousands of hours of testing, Arctic Cat C-TEC2 Synthetic Oil has been proven to provide ultimate protection for Arctic Cat 2-cycle engines. C-TEC2 Synthetic Oil excellent cold flow properties mean easy starting even in extreme cold temperatures and pouch packaging makes for easy, no-spill pouring. C-TEC2 Synthetic Oil is the best oil choice for any Arctic Cat 2-cycle snowmobile engine and the only oil recommended by Arctic Cat engineering for use in the new 600 C-TEC engine.

Polaris VES Synthetic

Polaris VES is a full-synthetic formula engineered to provide maximum engine wear protection, enhanced valve cleanliness, low smoke and easy starting in extreme cold temperatures. Polaris rigorously tests each lubricant on the dyno and on the trail before it earns the right to wear the Polaris Engineered Lubricant logo.

XPS 2-Stroke Synthetic Oil XPSLogo250x91
Years of development went into XPS 2-Stroke Synthetic Oil to ensure it was up to the task of protecting Ski-Doo Rotax engines equipped with E-TEC technology. E-TEC engines feature a computer-controlled oiling system only providing the engine with as much oil as it needs. XPS 2-Stroke Synthetic is designed as an actual mechanical part during engine development to meet the needs of Ski-Doo Rotax E-TEC engine technology.

USXC Owner Brian Nelson said the support from the three oil brands blends seamlessly with the mission of USXC X-Country Snowmobile Racing, which is to promote OEM snowmobile manufacturer’s products.

"USXC X-Country Snowmobile Racing is excited to have three different brands of OEM snowmobile oil as official oil sponsors," said USXC owner Brian Nelson. "I have been involved in snowmobile racing for over 40 years and from my experience OEM engine oils have always been the best choice for protecting your snowmobile engine."

Best regards,
Brian Nelson
